Cardiac Physiologist Ross Hall Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £42,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department. This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring. Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments. Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups in accordance with current guidelines. Prepare and issue timely, high-quality clinical reports for use by referring clinicians. Report faults promptly and take part in equipment procurement and upgrades where needed. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring informed consent is obtained. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice. Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations. A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics. Device qualification.
