LINKS Recruitment Group present a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to work within a well-established company who are continuously growing due to company success.
The role:
We are looking to recruit a motivated individual who can work as an individual and as part of a team of flexible electrical and mechanical technicians, reporting to the EC&I Engineer. This role involves Monday – Friday days/afternoon shift work, day project/PPM work and being part of a call out rota.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Participate as a member of the multi-skilled Engineering team, working with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives.
* Setting priorities from shift production teams’ guidance.
* Breakdown maintenance.
* Significant involvement in project, development and installation work.
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance.
* Safe working of all plant and equipment within Health & Safety requirements.
* Reacting effectively to minimize machine downtime, while executing planned preventative maintenance activities to increase machine availability and performance.
The Person:
Qualifications/Experience
* Timed served apprentice.
* Minimum ONC, or equivalent qualification.
* Experience with maintaining production equipment.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
Experience with the following is desirable, but not essential as in house training will be provided:
* PLC Systems (preferably Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)
* Instrumentation Systems (Thermocouples, level control, Loop Control)
* Inverter drive control
* Gas Burner Control Systems
* 3-phase Overhead Crane Systems
* General fault finding & diagnostics skills
Role: Permanent
Shifts: Days & Nights - mix of a 12 day and night shifts for 3 weeks, then days 07:00~ 15:00 for 1 week, repeated foe 16 weeks, followed by 4 weeks on 07:00~ 15:00 projects
