Job Role: Supporting the Class Teacher with delivering lessons tailored to children with SEND needs, particularly Autism. Working with small groups and one-on-one support for students with SEND. Providing personal care and ensuring that students are engaged in lessons. Assisting with the delivery of the National Curriculum, especially Key Stage 1 (KS1). Supporting students to develop both academically and socially within the classroom. Required Skills and Experience: Previous UK school experience is essential, with a proven background in supporting students with SEND needs. Experience working with students who have Autism is highly desirable. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is required. Knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly KS1. Strong communication skills to liaise with the Class Teacher and support staff. A commitment to safeguarding and supporting students in their educational journey.
