Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
* Assemble, install, maintain, test, and repair a wide range of electrical plant and associated components.
* Conduct in-service inspection & testing of electrical equipment (PAT) in line with compliance requirements.
* Perform fixed testing as per regulation requirements for all units.
* Carry out general commercial electrical maintenance.
* Work at height to access warehouse areas for electrical repairs/installations.
* Liaise with external contractors for larger electrical projects when required.
* Address and resolve any electrical defects identified in external inspection reports.
* Undertake breakdown maintenance on facility equipment.
* Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation of all facilities equipment.
* Utilise tools ranging from common hand & power tools to precision measuring instruments.
* Provide feedback on external H&S Compliance reports; organise resolutions and update maintenance schedules.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
* Qualified in commercial electrical installations:
o Level 3 City & Guilds (2391, 2394 & 2395)
o AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2)
o 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Demonstrable experience as a commercial electrician.
* Experience in building maintenance repairs and the ability to work independently.
* Strong understanding of statutory and non-statutory documents.
* Familiarity with Guidance Notes 1-8, BS7671 On Site Guide, and BS7671 Regulations.
