The Executive Support Team provides efficient, professional services to members of the Executive. This role will support the Principal and Vice-Chancellor directly, overseeing the Executive Support team through matrix management.
The successful candidate should demonstrate significant experience of working at an Executive level, including managing and leading a team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling relationships to be built and maintained with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. You will have extensive knowledge of administrative professional standards, as well as an excellent understanding of higher education in the UK, and be able to use that knowledge to support others whilst delivering the role to a high standard. Strong organisational skills are essential, including the ability to self-motivate and work independently (or with minimum guidance), alongside being able to work under pressure and meet exacting timescales.
