We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team in Kidderminster. You will be working with children who have experienced trauma, as well as those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative, individualized lessons that cater to a range of learning needs.
* Provide emotional and behavioural support to children who have experienced trauma.
* Implement strategies to manage and support SEMH, autism, and learning difficulties within the classroom.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children who have SEMH, autism, or other learning difficulties.
* Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and behaviour management strategies.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and adaptive approach to teaching.
* Passion for supporting children with complex needs and helping them achieve their potential.
