Financial Controller – Sheffield – £60,000 - £70,000
We are happy to be supporting one of the best businesses in Sheffield, who are recruiting an exciting new Financial Controller role due to business growth. This is a newly created role, reporting to the newly promoted Finance Director with prospects for the right person to develop your role with the business long term.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing the management accounts for a number of UK and overseas sites
Working with department heads in preparing budgets and forecasts
Capex and analysis of all aspects of the manufacturing process including labour, stock, bill of materials and all factory overheads
Working with the design team on costing of new products
Monitoring KPIs and preparing reporting pack for the Senior Management team
Calculating ROIs for proposed projects and capex investments
This is a truly Business Partnering role and will suit someone who has the communication skills and experience of manufacturing.

What you will need to be the successful Financial Controller:
Experience of working in a Manufacturing business at a similar level with a track record in reporting and analysis
Good experience of IT systems including good MS Excel skills
Self-starter with good communication skills and a can-do attitude
Continuous improvement and growth mind set
It would be an advantage if you have worked as part of a group of companies
