WHO ARE WE?
Charley struggled with his mental health throughout his adolescence and in 2014 it all became too much, and Charley took his own life. Charley’s mum was determined to raise awareness of what her son went through, in the hope that it would encourage more young people to talk about their own struggles. In 2015 with the help and support of Charley’s friends, family, and community In Charley’s Memory was formed.
Now as a recognised and multi award-winning charity we offer affordable counselling to individuals aged 11+, providing limitless counselling and support. Each week we support 250 individuals, but the demand for support is continually growing. In this new fundraising and partnership role you can help us to do that.
If successful you will join a welcoming team of admin and counsellors, with regular social event opportunities and a regular supply of cake and biscuits.
WHAT IS THE ROLE?
As Fundraising and Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing our fundraising/partnership strategies and initiatives around philanthropy, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, and delivering relevant promotional and fundraising events. You’ll develop innovative strategies to grow our income, build meaningful relationships with donors, businesses, our volunteers and other stakeholders and deliver a fantastic supporter experience.
This role is key to helping us raise a minimum of £100k annually to ensure In Charley’s Memory can continue providing support to those who desperately need our service.
The role has a requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends to support events.
WHO ARE YOU?
We want to hear from you if you have:
