Accounts Assistant - Receivables & Treasury
Harpenden - office based with parking onsite
9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
Temp to perm £35k depending on experience
Our client is a well-regarded, and expanding international company, with offices worldwide. We are supporting them with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temp to perm basis. The role involves customer collections, banking, bank reconciliations and assisting with month end accounting tasks. This role is a temp to perm position, therefore you will need to be available immediately, or at short notice. It is a fully office-based role, no hybrid working is on offer.
You will be responsible for;
* The preparation of the receivables report weekly, identifying overdue invoices
* Collection of invoices
* Dealing with any queries
* Management of letters of credit
* Posting of payments
* Assisting with month-end receivable reconciliations
* Recording daily transactions
* cashflow projections
* Assisting with bank recs
* Assisting with month end intercompany recs
To be successful in this role you will need experience in;
* Accounts receivable and banking
* Excellent comms
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles
* Good working knowledge of Excel
