Various Locations across Wigan & Leigh Borough Salary: Grade 4, 24,790 - 25,992 per annum. 12.84 - 13.47 per hour 37 hours per week Your role: The Family Hub at Formby Avenue is seeking to appoint an Early Years Worker to work across Atherton, Tyldesley, Astley and Mosley Common communities. The post involves using data to plan and deliver high quality play and learning opportunities that support and encourage parents/carers to become actively involved in their child s learning and development. It would be an advantage if you have experience of delivering projects to children, young people and their parents/carers. You will need to be flexible in your approach and demonstrate that you have excellent communication skills with children and their families. About you: The candidate must have a relevant level 3 qualification and recent experience of working with children and their families, with a willingness to undertake additional training. They will be enthusiastic, motivated and able to work on their own and as well as part of a team. They will have a good understanding of how adverse childhood experiences impact on children s mental and physical health and development and knowledge of Early Help and other support mechanisms for children and their families. You can work flexibly with families, so they get the right support, in the right place at the right time. Please note this role will involve working on a Saturday morning.
