Pharma - OnDemand
The On-Demand business is aspecialist medical supply business that sources and distributespharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumable supplies tohealthcare professionals in over 160 countries worldwide. We haveoffices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. The company'smain divisions encompass everything from International Salesthrough Sales to NGO's and Charities, Clinical Trials Supply,Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and thestorage and distribution of medical products and devices for thirdparties.

Therole
To support in the managementof all warehouse activities, to ensure the efficient and safedistribution of all products to and from Durbin UKfacilities.
Responsible for the day-to-dayoperations management of people within the warehouse and facilitiesdepartments, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met tomeet customer requirements, ensuring that staff comply with health,safety, and standard operating procedures. Responsible forhousekeeping standards and continuous improvement within thewarehouse.
To manage, assign and organise staff,manage performance and productivity and to ensure excellentstandards of customer service, for both internal and externalcustomers.
To effectively manage staff to bringthe best out of the team, delegating effectively, motivating othersand to ensure client and internal KPIs & SLA deadlines areachieved. Bringing a proactive and creative approach to solvingproblems. Overall to ensure that team members comply with companypolicies and maintain high level of service.
Key Outcomes andResponsibilities
* Providea safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Qualityrelated procedures and ensuring they are always understood andpracticed by the team
* Ensure orders areprocessed efficiently and that the delivery of product meetscustomers timescales/requirements
* Plan,co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch ofgoods
* Supervise and proactively control orderpicking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy withminimum handling and stock damage
* Organise,facilitate, and manage stock takes at regularintervals
* Identify errors and eliminate rootcause using robust countermeasures whilst adopting the correctiveactions to eliminate repeat issues
* Monitor andmaintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in linewith the warehouse management system to ensure all stock movementsare recorded to ensure accuracy
* Completing andmaintaining all daily and weekly reports and logs for thewarehouse.
* Ensuring that all workflowprocedures and processes are followed by directreports.
* Coaching, training, and guiding directreports to deliver high levels of quality service to customers, byensuring all warehouse staff are aware of their responsibilities,monitoring staff performance and providing relevantsupport
* To ensure that the warehouse area iskept a clean and safe environment, mitigating any health and safetyrisks
* Taking responsibility and ownership inproblem resolution.
* Responsible for overallproductivity within the designatedteam
* Actively support operational change whilsteffectively minimising disruption to production andservice.
* Sufficient proven experience as asupervisor or team leader, in an operational service delivery role;preferably from within a pharmaceutical industry or a supply chainbackground.
* Possess the ability to lead andmotivate a team of people to succeed by utilising appropriateinterpersonal styles including leading by example, settingobjectives, and defining responsibilities to give a clear sense ofdirection
* Good understanding of customerdeliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poorquality
* Able to achieve results by setting highstandards and committing to clearobjectives
* Ability to build and developsuccessful long-term relationship with customers, direct reports,other teams, and departments.
* Strong peoplemanagement skills, with the ability to focus and guide others inaccomplishing work objectives, using methods and a flexibleinterpersonal style, to help build a cohesive team, facilitatingthe completion of team goals, while valuing each employee as anindividual.
* Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills and able to establish logical practicalsolutions

* Previous experience withERP, WMS and TMS systems
