About the role
Lloyd & Whyte, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Social Media and Content Executive to join our Marketing team in their South Ockendon office.
The role of Social Media and Content Executive requires a confident copywriter with experience across all key social media channels in both a B2B and B2C capacity. The successful candidate will have experience in social media marketing and understand the fast pace of communications across digital and social media.

Key responsibilities
* Manage and grow our social media channels, developing content strategies to foster community engagement, grow followers, and drive brand connection.
* Drive marketing campaigns and influencer activities to deliver commercial impact and brand awareness.
* Create content strategy with our Head of Marketing.
* Plan and create engaging UGC & ECG content.
* Experience in advanced paid social strategies.
* Create exemplary on-brand copy for full-funnel content across various channels (social, print, blog).
* Plan and assist on videography shoots.
* Produce engaging videos – both long and short form alongside interactive content.
* Generate content ideas for social calendars and campaigns.
* Identify digital, social, content, and communication trends and implement them.
* Contribute to strategic content planning meetings.
* Knowledge of Press Office functions and experience in advertising.
* Generate ideas for newsworthy content.
* Write articles for key magazine outlets.
* Support at key events throughout the year.
* Copywrite for organic and paid content, including emails, using our email marketing platform, DotDigital.
* Maintain awareness of search engine optimization and stay updated on the latest marketing trends and best practices.
* Liaise with company partners such as our external digital specialist and design agency, as well as key senior stakeholders like our Commercial Director and CEO.
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Excellent internal and external communication skills.
* Able to work with people at all levels and demonstrate good stakeholder management.
* Good understanding of the commercial side of social media.
* Strong copywriting skills for both B2B and B2C audiences.
* Collaborative and cooperative.
* Up-to-date with current affairs and trends in our niche markets.
* A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success.
* Good grasp of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
* Excellent knowledge of Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram social media best practices.
* Up-to-date with social media content best practices, specs, and requirements.
* Ability to work autonomously to tight deadlines.
* Manage and curate emails (content, build, test sending, and delivery through Communicator).
* Full UK driving license and willingness to drive to events and other offices as required.
