As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will have a wide range of responsibilities at N+P Group’s plant in Crayford. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and undertaking corrective and reactive work, delivering improvement projects to increase plant reliability and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete Planned Maintenance inspections as defined by the site maintenance plans safely and effectively.
* Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, ensuring tools, parts, and materials are available, minimizing production downtime, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.
* Modify and improve plant and equipment to maximize availability and performance while meeting production demands.
* Complete dynamic risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
* Maintain stock control and shift paperwork, completing condition reports and documentation as defined by the maintenance strategy.
* Assess malfunctioning equipment and provide advice to the site management team to assist decision-making.
* Undertake engineering project work and assist with new installations or refurbishments.
* Update and administer the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* Contribute to problem-solving workshops, providing engineering expertise to identify root causes of failures and improvement actions.
* Attend daily operational review meetings, providing updates on Planned Maintenance compliance, live defects, and ongoing improvement plans.
Minimum Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electro-technical Installations or equivalent discipline or City & Guilds 2357-3 (Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnology).
* Experience working within a processing, manufacturing, or similar environment.
* Knowledge of CMMS systems, their purpose, and functionality.
* Good understanding of proactive maintenance strategy and condition monitoring.
* Numerate and literate with the ability to produce basic reports and management data as required.
What We Offer
* Salary around £51k per annum, depending on experience.
* Full-time, 4 on 4 off (day) shift pattern (could include call outs for night shift).
