Role Overview
Working primarily within the project delivery function at SRT but liaising closely with several departments, including the Finance team. This role is responsible for all finance matters related to the company's overseas projects (SRT's systems business). This position will suit a Qualified Accountant who is pragmatic, has good communication skills, and a high attention to detail, as well as experience working with large-scale international projects.
Responsibilities
1. Budgeting and cash flow planning for all international systems projects, including large-scale, complex projects
2. Producing budgets, forecasts, project accounts, and financial reports for the Exec
3. Controlling expenditure in line with budgets
4. Reporting on financial implications of project changes and risks
5. Cost control and governance - reviewing invoices to ensure they meet approved limits/agreed contracts
6. Project finance administration
7. Liaising with auditors as required
Requirements
1. Qualified accountant, ideally CIMA or ACA
2. Experience working on international projects
3. Uncompromising attention to detail
4. Ability to think outside the box
5. Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude
6. Appreciation of cultural differences in overseas territories and ability to communicate well with customers and advisors overseas
7. Team player
8. Solid knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
9. Desire to build a solid, secure career with a rapidly growing company
