Stellar Connect are working with a well-known, fast growing company in Glasgow who are looking for a Security Operations Analyst to support the development and implementation of their cyber security department. You will play a key role in managing security risks and contributing to the futureproofing of the business.

What you'll be doing:
* Assisting in the development and implementation of the company’s cyber security strategy, including policies, procedures, and technical controls.
* Collaborating with the cyber security team to provide updates to relevant stakeholders on project progress.
* Helping to manage customer expectations and ensure business communication aligns with the company’s brand and tone of voice.
* Assisting in resolving customer issues according to company SLAs.
* Working closely with external partners and internal teams.
* Contributing to other projects, such as systems improvements and product launches, as required.
* Assisting in incident response activities, including investigation and analysis of security incidents and coordination with external entities.
* Assisting in the investigation of security incidents.
* Supporting the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and technical controls.
* Supporting the cyber security team in conducting security posture assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, and provide improvement recommendations.
What you’ll need:
* Ideally a degree in Cyber Security, Mathematics or Physics.
* A solid understanding of cyber security best practices and implementation methods.
* High standards of ethics and integrity.
* The ability to think analytically and strategically.
* Comfortable working well under pressure.
This role will be based on site in Glasgow 5 days per week during the initial training period and will typically move to 3 days from home, 2 in the office after that.
