This is an exciting, new role for a well-established supplier of plastic building products. This role is a combination of Sales & Operations with 5 branches under your remit. The range of products stocked within these branches consists of fascia boards, soffits, trims, internal and external cladding, guttering, drainage systems, carports and canopies, windows, doors, conservatories. As Area Manager, you will be customer-facing on-site dealing with Main Contractors, Developers, and small independent contractors. However, half of your time will be spent in the branches assisting the development of the staff, which in turn will lead to an improvement in sales. As a brand new role for the business, it represents an excellent opportunity to develop a career. The region you will have responsibility for is the M25 region including home counties.

Person
My client is looking for a bright, engaging, sharp, hungry sales individual from a Merchant or Distributor background. You could be branch-based with experience of operating within a trade counter who understands the importance of working with branch-based personnel, as long as you have the sales persona to be in front of customers on site. You need to be based as close to the M25 as possible.
