About the Role: This is a temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate. As a Social Worker in our Children's Services division, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and delivering care and protection for children, young people, and their families. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals in need of safeguarding and support. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive social work assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Develop and implement care and protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams. Advocate for the safety, welfare, and rights of children, ensuring their voices are heard. Manage complex cases involving safeguarding, care leavers, and children with complex needs. Attend and represent the service in multi-agency decision-making meetings. Maintain accurate records in line with legal and organizational standards. Provide training and mentoring to colleagues and stakeholders as required.What We're Looking For: Qualifications: A professional qualification in Social Work (Degree or Diploma) and registration with Social Work England. Knowledge: Expertise in children's safeguarding, risk management, and social care legislation. Skills: Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills. Proficiency in IT systems is essential. Attributes: Resilience, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure in challenging situations. Experience: Proven experience in providing social care services for children and families, including care planning and multi-agency coordination.
