Description We seek a skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our Shared Services team, to work alongside the CFO to ensure that financial management is maintained to the highest standard across the Trust. Our ideal candidate will be a CCAB qualified accountant with experience of working in a large organisation and/or educational setting. In this role you will assist the CFO in overseeing the finances of the Trust, including the production of budgets and forecasts, monitoring and providing financial advice and checking the monthly payroll run. The position would suit a hard-working, self-motivated, pro-active and reliable team player, able to work to strict deadlines and take responsibility for their own workload. Good interpersonal skills and a “can do” attitude are essential. Experience of working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word is essential as the work is mainly computer based. Previous experience of computerised accounts systems is also essential. Kernow Learning is a multi-academy trust of 21 primary schools in Cornwall.
