Salary starting at £23,800 DOE, 37 hours per week A glance at the role: We are currently seeking Pensions Administrators to join our team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract basis. As a Pensions Administrator, your role is to assist in the provision of a pension scheme administration service in respect of the pension schemes administered by the Local Pensions Partnership. What you will be doing: - Processing and checking a range of general pensions casework, including, but not limited to, benefit estimates, transfers, retirements, commutation of benefits, and the combining of benefits, ensuring service level targets and deadlines are met. - Responding to member correspondence related to the work undertaken within the team, ensuring service level targets and deadlines are met. - Developing an understanding of current pensions regulations and overriding legislation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge. - Liaising with customers and third parties to obtain information relevant to the work undertaken by the team. - Maintaining information security and dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential information within service protocols and guidelines. - Ensuring all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner, achieving required accuracy levels. - Assisting and helping our members and employers by answering questions and queries sensitively and accurately to deliver a first-class service. - Delivering a flexible and responsive service in line with business needs, while taking ownership of individual enquiries and customer requests. - Working independently without close supervision. - Meeting and exceeding agreed quality and performance targets. - Supporting service provision as appropriate, undertaking other duties commensurate with the post. - Complying with LPPAs Data Protection and Information Security policies and relevant GDPR legislation.
