The Emergency department is looking for caring, enthusiastic, and highly
organised Admin Clerks to join our friendly Admin team. The team works a
variety of shifts covering a 24 hr. period, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Therefore, the ability to work a variety of shifts i.e. early, late, and night shifts is essential. The hours advertised are made up of two vacancies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work as a member of the team or individually, along with the ability to use your own initiative to solve problems as they arise, is crucial.
You will provide administration/reception cover to the department and work in association with the nursing staff, consultant teams, the public, management, and staff from internal and external sources through the provision of clerical duties.
You will have experience in an administrative and reception role and be
competent in IT in the workplace. You would preferably have experience of shift work and have worked with the public in a customer services role. Attention to detail and accurate data capture is an essential part of this
position.
