We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Operations Manager to lead and coordinate all security functions for Mersey Shield Ltd. This role involves managing the security team, ensuring a safe environment for employees and clients, and implementing strategies to protect company assets. The ideal candidate has a strong background in security operations, excellent leadership skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management: Oversee and lead the security team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Foster a culture of safety and responsiveness within the team.
2. Risk Assessment & Policy Implementation: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Implement and continuously improve security policies, protocols, and procedures to align with industry best practices.
3. Incident Response & Reporting: Manage and coordinate responses to security incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution. Document all incidents and create detailed reports for management review.
4. Resource Allocation & Budget Management: Optimize resource allocation to cover all security needs, managing the security budget effectively while maintaining high service standards.
5. Compliance & Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies. Regularly review and update protocols to remain compliant with evolving standards.
6. Vendor & Contractor Management: Liaise with third-party security vendors and contractors to ensure quality services and maintain positive relationships.
7. Surveillance & Technology Management: Oversee surveillance systems, access controls, and other security technology. Regularly assess technological needs and recommend updates or improvements.
8. Emergency Preparedness & Training: Develop and implement emergency response procedures and coordinate regular drills. Conduct ongoing training for security personnel on emergency preparedness, crisis management, and protocol updates.
Qualifications
1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in operations management, with proven supervisory experience.
2. Certifications: Security-related certifications (e.g., SIA license, Certified Protection Professional) are a plus.
3. Language Skills: Proficiency in English is a must for effective communication and reporting.
