Location: North West England, Lancashire, Chorley
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours
Salary: £130 - £160 Per day
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students across different age groups and abilities
* Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt them to meet the needs of the students
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to promote learning and development
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS check
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work with diverse student populations
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject
* Experience in teaching within a school setting
* Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
* Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training or certifications in specific subject areas
* Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of schools
* Experience with SEN students
Additional Information:
* Temporary position with the potential for ongoing work
* Based in Chorley, with travel to different schools in the area
* Full-Time hours, typically following the school day schedule
