Resourcery is currently supporting a prestigious not-for-profit organisation in their search for a highly skilled Project Accountant. The Project Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for overseeing the grants and funding for various projects.
Responsibilities:
* Provide accurate and timely financial information on grants and funding, both internally and externally
* Act as the finance focal point for grants-related issues, including budgeting, cash flow management, reporting, and auditing
* Analyse budget and actual costs, and prepare project profit and loss statements for internal key stakeholders
* Support the organisation through precise financial performance reporting
* Manage administrative duties related to grants, including setting up new grants/funding once secured
* Collaborate closely with AP and AR teams to ensure efficient billing and invoicing processes
* Maintain database and records accurately and efficiently
* Handle internal and external queries regarding grants and funding
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a similar position with strong exposure to grants and funding
* Experience in reporting and accounting in the not-for-profit sector
* Proficient in Excel, specifically with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
