Teaching Personnel is looking for fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants in or around Newport to join secondary schools across the area. If you're passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact in students' lives, we want to hear from you!
Whether you're new to the education sector or have prior experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive team and gain valuable skills. No prior school experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide emotional support to students, helping them develop their personal and social skills
2. Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
3. Follow the school’s safeguarding policies and ensure students’ well-being
4. Collaborate with teachers and fellow Teaching Assistants to create a supportive classroom atmosphere
5. Adapt to changing classroom dynamics and student needs
Job Requirements:
1. Right to work in the UK
2. Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we will assist you in obtaining one)
3. Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
4. Two professional references covering the past 24 months
5. Level 2 Safeguarding certification (Training provided by Teaching Personnel)
