Assist a team of three mortgage brokers Be accountable and available daily to support the team. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted promptly. Monitor the progress of each application and keep all parties informed of updates. Address client enquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the application process. Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their mortgage applications. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lenders, and other stakeholders. Verify all documentation for accuracy and completeness. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements. Maintain detailed and organized records of all mortgage applications. Liaise with underwriters, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties. Schedule and coordinate property valuations and surveys as required. Facilitate the exchange of information between all parties involved in the mortgage process. Skills and Competencies: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mortgage processing, underwriting, or a related field. CeMAP qualification is ideal but not essential. Experience working on 1st charge mortgages and Buy-to-Let (BTL) mortgages. Strong understanding of mortgage products, services, and regulations. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in using mortgage processing software and other relevant technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
