We have an exciting vacancy within our Engineering department Thursday to Saturday alternate Wednesdays (6:00am-18:00pm) Join Branston as our Senior Maintenance Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in optimising our production facility's performance during the night shift. In this pivotal role, you'll provide leadership and technical guidance to our engineering team, ensuring swift responses to breakdowns and the implementation of proactive maintenance strategies. Your expertise will ensure that health and safety remain paramount across our 24/7 factory operations. From planned maintenance programs to tackling frontline breakdowns and fault-finding, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining our operational efficiency. As a senior member of our team, you'll exude confidence in your abilities, approach problem-solving with a positive mindset, drive improvements through effective communication and drive a first fix culture within the department. Lead an engineering shift team to create a high performing culture where team members are motivated, engaged, and supported to develop and achieve their potential. Plan and prioritise the shift workload for the engineering team to enable production targets to be achieved by maximising machinery up time. Ensuring all plant and equipment adhere to all relevant legislation and so that a safe working environment is maintained all times, make sure the permit to work is in place and adhered to so that contractors and colleagues always work safely. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll collaborate closely on continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the planning of departmental projects.
