They have a strong focus on installing Marine Electricity Interconnectors and Offshore Windfarms Export Cables. With over 25 years of experience and a range of specialist equipment, they are a key player in Europe's energy transition, working on projects across France, Germany, and the UK.# Your new role Due to increased workload, our client are hiring a Geotechnical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers, marine operations, and Responsibilities: Conducting site investigations and soil sampling to gather data on subsurface conditions. Analysing soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to assess stability and suitability for construction. Support detailed designs and project delivery for subsea and landside cable projects Performing geotechnical analysis and interpreting data to design foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks. Developing and implementing field-testing procedures Preparing detailed geotechnical reports and documentation. Collaborating with civil engineers, architects, and construction teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into project designs. What you'll need to succeed: To be successful for this role, candidates must have the following: Bachelor's degree in Civil or relevant discipline (marine and environmental) Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in contracting or consultancy. Strong technical and organisational skills. The ability to lead design development, manage workload, and liaise with clients. Knowledge of another European language (beneficial but not essential The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
