What you’ll be doing:
1. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator will support the human resources team by managing administrative tasks while serving as a main point of contact for staff inquiries.
2. Manage employee records and data audits in BambooHR to ensure 100% accuracy.
3. Manage employees' enrolment in our group health, dental, disability and retirement saving plans.
4. Liaise with employees and people leaders to ensure all onboarding tasks are complete, setting up new employees for rock star success.
5. Prepare and process employment contracts and amendments for new hires, transfers, and compensation changes.
6. Assist and advise managers and employees on the interpretation of employment law, company policies, compensation, and benefit programs.
7. Conduct stay and exit interviews. Develop and communicate recommendations based on findings.
8. Lead various projects and initiatives to advance the department and company.

We are looking for an "A Player" - that means YOU...
1. Have a minimum of 1 year of Human Resources Coordinator experience.
2. Have a Human Resources degree, diploma or certificate + knowledge of multiple Provincial Employment Standards Acts across Canada.
3. Are adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while ensuring flexibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.
4. Have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs + familiarity with Human Resources Information Management Systems (We use Bamboo HR).
5. Have the ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
6. Are service-oriented with high energy, initiative, and an engaging attitude.
7. Can travel occasionally to sites within Canada and between sites.
8. Must possess a valid driver's license.
