Salary: Negotiable – depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing all the safety requirements that filter down from whole boat into combat systems – safety requirements flow down and recording in DOORS
* Managing Requirements Decomposition (DSRs / 4SFRs / 5SFRs) once the Safety Team have completed their Analysis
* Delivering reports into Senior Engineering Manager for safety requirements process
* Liaising with Subsystems, Safety Team, and Suppliers with regards to Safety Requirements
* Providing the Safety Team/Subsystems with specialist support in assisting in the carrying out of a Gap Analysis between Formal Safety Requirements and assumptive Safety Requirements placed on suppliers by the Sub-systems teams
Your skills and experiences:
* Experience using DOORS
* Safety requirements management – recent experience at managing requirements up and down the V cycle – INCOSE systems engineering V diagram
* Degree or relevant level of experience at requirements management
* Defence contract experience
* Excellent communication and collaborative engagement skills
* Appreciation of Safety FHAs, FTAs, PSSAs and Safety Fault Schedules
