About this Corporate Case Services Officer (Human Resources and Governance) job opportunity in Canterbury: You will be part of a team of customer focused officers who provide efficient and effective support services across the Council for both internal and external customers. You will spend 18.5 hours a week supporting Human Resources activities and 18.5 hours a week supporting Governance activities but during peak times will be fluidly deployed across these areas to meet the needs of the business. Here’s what you’ll get up to: You will be part of a Corporate Case Services team delivering customer facing services for internal and external customers. You will be providing the administrative support for all elements of the employee lifecycle to support our Human Resources specialist teams. Processing and updating information on our employment system to ensure that council records are accurate. You will have an interesting and varied workload and contact with employees and managers from across the organisation. The Job Family for case/Corporate Case Officers at level 2 details the expectations of team members who join our team. Our Corporate Case Services’ working pattern: Fixed term position (37 hours a week) Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. We offer a generous annual leave entitlement of 23 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (pro rata) and 3 given days over the Christmas holiday period when our main offices are closed. Hybrid role working from home and in the office. Core business hours 8:30-5:00. About you, the ideal Corporate Case Services Officer (Human Resources & Governance) for the job: You are available for a full-time Fixed Term position for one year. Your knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook). Detailed knowledge of Human Resources employee lifecycle events and administrative processes. Your experience: Previous experience working within Human resources administrative support. Providing excellent customer services. Experience in supporting Human Resources administration. Your skills: Great attention to detail. Organisational & prioritisation skills. Your qualifications: Level 3 qualifications in English and Maths (A level or equivalent).
