2. 37 hours per week. Shifts will include 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm. Working alternate weekends. Bank holiday working is also required.

Here at Oakleigh, we provide residential care for up to 11 adults that have a range of needs including learning difficulties, mental health needs, autism, and some behaviours perceived to be challenging. We are located within the seaside town of Dawlish.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting our residents with their daily practical activities, shopping, food preparation, support with cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
2. Supporting with accessing the community and taking part in a range of activities including walking, swimming, theatre and cinema trips, day trips out, and attending music events.
Who you are:
1. Males preferred due to the needs of the service.
2. Whether new to the role or an existing support worker, our training package means we can get you up to speed with the standard of care we deliver and using our buddy system, there’s always someone about to listen and support you as you train.
3. You will have a great sense of humour, be understanding and patient.
