This is a varied role, that can be tailored depending on the skill set/interests of the applicant. Equally if the applicant is also interested in the bar manager role, these jobs can be combined.
Core responsibilities
* Ensure the day to day running of the distillery
* Growing sales, both through the website and identifying and approaching new trade accounts
* Help on the bottling/production line
* Help during events/local food festivals and events at the distillery (tasting sessions and cocktail nights)

Skills needed
* Must be passionate about food and drink, and local small businesses
* Experience in sales or marketing would be helpful
* Some experience in hospitality/food and drink
* Must be self motivated, and comfortable working in a small team, and sometimes alone.
Pay and hours
* Depending on the applicant the role would initially be 3 or 4 days a week
* Much of the work can be flexible in terms of days worked, and hours worked. However, there will be a necessity to work some evenings and weekends at events (at the distillery, and a handful of food festivals (Narberth, Lampeter, Abergavenny)
* Pay will initially be in line with the National Living Wage. There will be a bonus scheme involving shares of the business. The distillery manager will receive shares from the annual profit of the business, and in the event of a buyout or sale to a larger business they will also receive a share of this. We’d like to foster a culture of staff feeling a proper part of the business, and benefit from its future success.
* Option for a whole month off in either January or February
