East Riding Pension Fund is a Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) providing a pensions service to over 320 employers and 130,000 members. The Fund is responsible for the management of assets worth £7 billion, with £280 million income and £250 million expenditure. The Fund is one of the eleven owners and investors in Border to Coast Pensions Partnership Limited (Border to Coast), which manages the majority of the Pension Fund’s assets.
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Investment Assistant to join our investment team. In this role, you will provide essential processing support for the buying and selling of stocks, shares, and other investments. You will also assist in the efficient operation of all technical administration, accounting, and treasury management processes to facilitate effective trading and ensure accurate records and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Pension Fund's daily treasury requirements and produce necessary reports for Senior Accountants and other team members.
2. Produce the entire valuation for the internally managed portfolio of the East Riding Pension Fund within required timescales, including sourcing pricing data, reconciling holdings, liaising with external service providers, and coordinating the checking procedure.
3. Manage the settlement process to ensure all investment transactions are matched and settled according to instructions and required timescales, and are appropriately authorised.
