As an Accounts Assistant in our efficient Finance department, you will be exposed to every corner of our unique, rapidly growing company. Forget the monotonous reputation of classics accounts, your day will be varied and interesting, presenting plenty of opportunity to hone your current skills and develop a plethora of new ones!
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Providing support across the Finance team, dependent on requirements
* Assisting with annual audits, monthly management accounts and all necessary schedules and reconciliation
* Partaking in monthly SOX audit preparation (all necessary training provided)
* Assisting with Trade receivables and Trade payables processing and reconciliation, including resolving queries
As part of a team involved in every area of the business, you must be able to communicate effectively with others, both internally and externally. To be successful, you will thrive in a target-lead environment, you will be eager to learn best practice and not be afraid to ask questions.
It is essential you:
* Work well as part of a team while holding responsibility for your own workload
* Are flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a growing company
* Hold an AAT Level 2 qualification
* Can use Excel, including basic formulas
Although not essential for the right candidate, it would be desirable you have:
* AAT Level 3
* Experience with Sage 200
* Audit experience (internal or external)
* Advanced Excel skills
