Our client is a leading pensions company based in Glasgow city centre. Due to expansion they are recruiting for a Defined Benefit, Final Salary Senior Pensions Administrator to work within their close knit team. The job is available is due to new business wins further expansion, and the successful applicant will be in a key role working at the forefront of the team also managing your own set of DB and some DC schemes. Previous technical defined benefit/ final salary pensions experience is essential, in addition some experience in client management and Defined Contribution schemes would be beneficial. Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable, but not essential and they will support you in gaining such qualifications. A background within a third party environment would be ideal but not essential.You will be working with clients who have a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Technical knowledge of cradle to grave pensions administration is required, a thorough understand of scheme rules and current legislation and project management. Interacting with trustees, actuaries and HNW individuals/employers. There will also be quality checking, training/coaching involved working at a senior level and elements of client facing time.An excellent basic salary is on offer for the successful candidate, plus a fantastic benefits package.
