This international law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Proposals Manager to lead its proposals function during a 12-month maternity cover. This role is pivotal in driving the firm’s marketing and sales efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, strategic proposals that align with its growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Strategy: Oversee the proposals team, implementing best practices and driving engagement with the firm’s proposal methodologies.
• Process Improvement: Work alongside senior colleagues to execute a pre-defined programme of change, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal function.
• Project Management: Lead the implementation of proposal automation software, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across the firm.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with partners and business development teams to coordinate and deliver compelling proposals, particularly during peak periods.
• Training & Development: Develop and deliver proposal training sessions for fee earners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
• A proven track record in managing proposals within a professional services environment, ideally legal.
• Strong project management abilities, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate high-pressure situations.
