You will manage a team and also be expected to work autonomously acting as a resource of expertise. Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills are essential. Your role will provide specialist input into community High Risk/MSK Clinics and High risk home visits. You will be responsible for line managing part of the podiatry team and the organisation of clinics. You will be able to demonstrate empathy, resilience, a methodical approach and an aptitude for problem solving using your own initiative. You will liaise with the multi-disciplinary team within community and secondary care and with colleagues across the Trust. You will also be involved in nail surgery and prevention clinics. You will be expected to take an active part in CPD, developing yourself, along with others in the team, including students and other health care professionals. You will have responsibility for the Students, podiatry assistants and apprentices when they come out on placement and be the lead for education for both internal and external requests.
