We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our Substance Misuse team at Gatwick IRC, an immigration removal centre located in Gatwick.
Hours:
The site currently offers 2 shifts per week but alternate weekends and flexible working days.
Salary:
This position is part time, and you'll receive an annual salary up to £30,684 pro rata per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis, and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing:
As a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Work with other members of the team to assess the needs of patients and assess risks accordingly. Provide outstanding evidence-based care to a caseload of psychosocial patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback to ensure personalized care.
* Provide a program of psychosocial interventions, along with information and advice on substance misuse-related concerns.
* Have opportunities to become a SMART recovery facilitator.
* Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
