At AstraZeneca, we put patients first and strive to meet their unmet needs worldwide. We’re deeply committed to our strategy of being a great place to work, fostering an environment where everyone can be among inclusive, supportive individuals with curious minds.
Make the start of your journey a lifechanging one
As part of our Early Talent Programme, you’ll be involved in projects and learning opportunities that have real impact from day one. You will help provide life-changing medicine to patients all over the world and transform lives for the better.
Our Degree Level Apprenticeship Programme in Pharmaceutical Technology and Development (PT&D) offers a unique opportunity for a four-year, real alternative to full-time university, with the opportunity to study for a BSc Degree in Packaging Technology.
As an AstraZeneca Apprentice in PT&D, you will learn within a multi-national company, gaining usable skills while working closely alongside industry experts and professionals. The workplace experience acquired during your apprenticeship will ensure you develop the skills to provide good prospects for future scientific positions in AstraZeneca and the pharmaceutical industry in general.
In addition to valuable working experience, you will have the opportunity to study towards professional qualifications while earning a competitive salary. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by mentors and managers committed to developing your full potential within AstraZeneca.
Training and Development
AstraZeneca will sponsor you through your degree apprenticeship at Sheffield Hallam University. The apprenticeship combines working, earning a full-time salary, with fully funded part-time university learning (on average 1 day/week). This will give you the opportunity to gain a Level 6 qualification while gaining relevant work-life skills.
