The Edwin Group is looking for an experienced Events and Marketing Co-ordinator to join our busy Marketing team. This is a diverse and exciting role, perfect for a highly organised, proactive and creative individual.
Start date: July 24
Contract: Full-time (37 hours per week), temporary (maternity cover) until 30th May 2025
Location: Flexible – work from home, one of our 22 local branches or our Sheffield Head Office. You must be located within a commutable distance of one of our offices for occasional in-office duties.
As the Events and Marketing Co-ordinator, you will be the events lead for The Edwin Group, overseeing all aspects of event management and logistics. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our brands are well-represented at both local and national events. Additionally, you will develop engaging online and offline marketing communications to promote our services, helping schools recruit and retain quality staff and enhance their overall efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
Event management and co-ordination:
1. Own event schedules and liaise with event organisers and internal staff.
2. Ensure stands are staffed and branded appropriately.
3. Manage pre and post-event communications and report on event success.
Copywriting:
4. Create content for emails, websites, social media and printed materials.
Email marketing:
5. Help develop and manage Salesforce and HubSpot email templates, automations and workflows.
Social media management:
6. Oversee corporate social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring and engagement.
Website and intranet management:
7. Develop, publish and maintain content, control documents and resolve issues.
Stock control:
8. Manage and order marketing collateral for all Group offices.
Skills and experience:
Essential:
9. Degree in marketing, communications, event management or a similar qualification.
10. Proven experience in a marketing role with strong content writing skills for diverse audiences.
11. Highly organised with experience of managing and delivering events at both local and national levels.
12. Proficient in using social media platforms, web-based applications and mass email software (eg HubSpot, Salesforce and SharePoint).
13. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
14. Excellent copywriting and proofing skills with attention to detail and a creative eye for artwork.
15. Innovative thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
16. Flexible problem solver, able to work well under pressure.
Desirable:
17. CIM in marketing or digital marketing.
18. Experienced in using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
