Assembly Operatives
Location: Moy, Dungannon
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm / Friday 8am - 2pm
Salary: £12.50 - £14.50 depending on experience
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the accurate assembly of mechanical components, adhering to safety, quality, and production standards.
The Person:
1. Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role, preferably in heavy equipment or machinery.
2. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
3. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
6. Physically fit to lift and handle heavy parts and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
7. Assemble aggregate system components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
8. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to fit, fasten, and install parts.
9. Inspect and test completed units for functionality and quality assurance.
10. Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
11. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
12. Identify and report defects, malfunctions, or issues in assembly processes.
13. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation and assembly area.
14. Work in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
