Cardiff Sixth Form College Cambridge was launched in September 2022 with a small cohort of international students. The college continues to grow, resulting in a number of additional teaching roles becoming available.
The Teacher of English for Academic Purposes will join the existing EAP staff to implement the college’s comprehensive EAP curriculum. This is focused on supporting and developing the language skills that students will need to excel in their chosen A Level subjects, to gain admission to university (including obtaining the necessary IELTS qualifications), and to meet the demands of academic language use at undergraduate level and beyond. The Teacher of EAP will also assist with the delivery of our Extended Project curriculum. We currently prioritise teaching literacy and oracy across all subjects, supporting the progress in English for all our learners.
