This is part-time up to a maximum of 16 hours a week, and often carried out while the homeowner is at work. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner wants. But they can include any of the following and maybe more: dusting and polishing furniture cleaning windows vacuuming carpets mopping floor tiles ironing clothes washing up pots and pans For the role, you need: To enjoy doing practical tasks. To be reliable and motivated. Have knowledge of using household cleaning equipment and materials. The ability to clean without being supervised. To have high cleaning standards. To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if required. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off spring clean for a special occasion.
