Background
We are looking to appoint an exceptional person to join the Governance team to work closely with the senior leadership team, executives, and non-executives. The Senior Governance Officer will be directly responsible for supporting the full range of activities managed by GLAS.
Person Specification
Key attributes of the successful applicant include:
1. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
2. Good knowledge of how committees operate and experience of servicing and business-managing committees, including drafting concise and accurate committee minutes and following up on actions in a timely manner.
3. Proven ability to write professional, clear, and concise material including committee/meeting papers, policies, procedures, reports, and presentations.
4. Experience of working in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
5. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external colleagues and stakeholders at the most senior level.
