The Role
As an Intermediate, Senior, or Principal Consultant, you will play an important role in supporting our clients' development proposals, including:
1. Costing of jobs
2. Attending meetings with the client or authorities
3. Report writing
4. Promoting active and sustainable transport opportunities
5. Junction modelling
6. Financial/project management
About You
You're a self-motivated individual with a minimum of three years' experience in a private sector consultancy environment, but we always consider applicants on merit rather than experience alone. You'll have excellent project management, computer, and verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate:
1. Experience of producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
2. Experience of providing access feasibility advice
3. Detailed knowledge of, and the ability to apply appropriate design guidance, i.e., MfS, MfS2, DMRB
4. Experience in the use of relevant software, particularly Junctions 9/10 and LinSig
5. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft software, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
6. Knowledge of the planning process across the UK
