Rates: £110-£150 per hour dependant on experience. Inside IR35 only
Shifts: Monday-Friday, no on calls. Full or part time considered. Job plan available on request. Some remote working offered

Main Duties/Responsibilities
As an Oncology Consultant with Swansea Bay Health Board you will:
21. Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information to explain a diagnosis, stage of cancer and treatment options using a variety of methods, to ensure practical understanding.
22. Assist in managing the side effects and symptoms of cancer and its treatment including pain management.
23. Coordinate treatment plans and prescribe various types of treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
24. Treat patients with radiation therapy (applies to Clinical Oncologists only).
25. Provide constant monitoring and care for patients in seriously ill or unstable conditions.
26. Communicate with patients on shared patient decision making
27. Work in and where appropriate, lead a multidisciplinary team
28. Assess and prioritise patient/client requirements, delegating effectively to others.
29. Recognise, review, and report a patient's condition and any changes to the patient and the multidisciplinary team.
30. Performing basic administrative and clerical tasks, such as keeping records of test results, writing prescriptions, providing cancer information to patients, and monitoring treatment plans.
31. Responsible for adhering to the GMC professional Code of Conduct.
Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications
Essential
32. Be a GMC registered Doctor (you do NOT need to be on the Specialist Register).
33. Have relevant experience at Consultant level, or references to support your transition up to Consultant level.
34. Hold evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK (unfortunately locum jobs aren't able to offer visa sponsorship).
35. You will need to pass an enhanced background check (DBS).
