Who are we?
Since 2010 ND Care & Support have provided a range of bespoke domiciliary care and community care services for children, young adults, adults and older people throughout Wales. We are a registered member of the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).
A full UK Driving License or an International Driving License and your own car are essential. You must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
About the role:
As a Community Support Care Worker, you will be required to support and deliver our sessional care services to Adults who have additional support needs due to learning, and / or physical disabilities, or poor mental health. We ensure they have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. Together we can unlock potential and inspire change!
You will be required to:
Enrich lives with every activity; supporting social development and inclusion by enabling individuals to enjoy recreational activities such as bowling, swimming and going to the cinema. Discovering joy in every activity!
Support people to build and develop independent living skills such as cooking and shopping for a brighter future.
Promote well-being to inspire wellness and ignite change.
Provide support with a healthy balanced diet so we can empower people to thrive.
Provide companionship to nurture bonds that enrich lives. Ensuring a connection that counts!
As a Care Assistant with ND Care & Support, your hard work and commitment will be rewarded in a number of ways:
We will cover the cost of your Enhanced DBS check, Social Care Wales registration fee and a Blue Light Card — saving you over £70! (We will reimburse you for the Blue Light Card and SCW registration fee on proof of purchase and once you have worked for us for more than four weeks).
Paid travel and waiting time and Full time hours and set shifts.
5-day in depth Induction and training programme (paid at national minimum wage once you have worked for us for a minimum of 50 hours).
£13.45ph weekdays and £14.01ph on weekends (please note, these pay rates include your rolled-up holiday pay).
Full visits / calls paid, not minute by minute
Refer a Friend and once your friend has worked for 12 weeks, we'll pay you both £150!
The ideal candidate:
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full ongoing training and support will be provided by us.
Be a caring and compassionate person, with a passion for supporting and empowering our community's most vulnerable.
Be happy to travel in the community to provide care and support.
Be able to commit to set sessions each week.
