We are looking for a pharmacy technician who will have a heavy focus on benefit verification and claims processing. Along with the verifications and claims processing, the technician will partner with the pharmacy operation teams to troubleshoot hurdles that arise with processing patient prescriptions. The pharmacy technician may, when applicable, assist the pharmacy in day-to-day operations and other activities as directed by their supervisor.
Qualifications:
Required:
1. High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) equivalent.
2. Holds a pharmacy technician license or registration in the applicable state of employment.
3. Holds a certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Pharmacy Technician Association (preferred) or completed within six months of hire date.
4. Demonstrated excellent planning and communication skills.
5. 3 years of Home Infusion / Specialty Pharmacy practice experience.
6. Strong in cross-functional communication and collaboration.
7. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
8. Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and provide accurate information in a dynamic environment.
9. Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluation situations and advising in accordance with laws and regulations.
10. Strong work ethic with personal qualities of integrity and credibility.
11. Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential material.
12. Demonstrate strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit.
13. Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
14. Excellent organization and communication skills.
