We're recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation looking for an EDI specialist to enhance efficiency across their supply chain and finance operations. The Role: In this 6-month fixed-term contract, you will act as a key link between business and technology teams, analysing, implementing, and optimising EDI solutions to improve invoicing, order management, and other critical processes. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in EDI workflows and data exchange. Key Responsibilities: Gather and analyse business requirements for EDI implementation and enhancements. Work with stakeholders across finance, supply chain, procurement, and IT to ensure seamless EDI integration. Assess existing EDI processes, identifying areas for optimisation and automation. Support the on boarding and management of trading partners, ensuring smooth data exchange. Troubleshoot EDI transaction errors and implement solutions to enhance reliability. Document EDI workflows, mappings, and transaction specifications to align with business needs. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and retailer-specific requirements). Conduct testing and validation of new and modified EDI integrations. Provide training and support to internal teams on best practices. Stay informed on emerging EDI technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. What We're Looking For: Business analysis experience with a strong focus on EDI solutions. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with EDI troubleshooting. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience working across finance, supply chain, and procurement functions. Knowledge of EDI standards, protocols, and best practices. Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies.
