Role: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Rhyl
Type: Permanent
Salary: £52,000 per annum
Hours: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)
Our client, an award-winning manufacturer, is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their engineering team.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain efficient production by performing predictive and planned maintenance on equipment, promptly completing ad hoc repairs, and allocating work according to site priorities.
* Set up and maintain safe, legal, and efficient engineering operations that grow the site's asset base over time by adhering to the engineering strategy for proactive work and reacting to malfunctions.
* Determine the necessity for spares by ensuring that stock is at the necessary levels and that the critical spares and spares list are current.
* Report any problems as soon as possible to the engineering manager.
* Maintain a safe working environment by carrying out all servicing and maintenance tasks with the least amount of risk to personnel, goods, and machinery.
* Use root cause analysis to pinpoint problems.
* Participate in the weekly and daily review sessions to promote site-wide improvement.
The Person:
* Qualified or time served in both Mechanical and Electrical engineering disciplines.
* Computer literate.
* Experienced in the use and operation of CMMS.
* 3 years' experience within an engineering role.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
* FMCG background would be advantageous.
